Recognized as the world's largest scientific and educational computing society, ACM has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of computing. In alignment with this prestigious legacy, ACM-S.B. Jain was founded in 2023 by the Department of Emergicon at S. B. Jain Institute of Technolog, Management and Research. Since 2023, it has been jointly managed by the departments of Emericon AIML-AIDS. ACM-S.B. Jain serves as a dynamic professional community, committed to fostering awareness of the latest technological advancements and providing educational insights. With a focus on nurturing aspiring change-makers, the association organizes events centered around cutting-edge technologies, contributing to the holistic development of students. S.B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management & Research (SBJITMR) is an initiative of Shri Shantilalji Badjate, who devoted his lifetime to the field of education. His dream to build a world class educational infrastructure led to the beginning of Sir Shantilal Badjate Charitable Trust,Nagpur. The Institute is a self-financed, Hindi linguistic minority Institute affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur; approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. It is accredited with NAAC “A” Grade. Since its inception, SBJITMR has continuously seen a rise in popularity amongst the aspiring students and their parents. It has become a preferred destination of the students due to qualitytechnical education, matching infrastructure, robust teaching-learning practices as well as holisticgrowth and good employability. The Institute has a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced faculty Members. The Institute has been conferred with Autonomous Status by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) from Academic Session 2020-21 onwards. Autonomy is a functional status given to the colleges by the University Grants Commission and the affiliated University. Autonomy provides the most flexibility towards academic development for the uplift of academic standards and excellence.

Welcome to the SBJITMR Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)! I am pleased to welcome you all to the Department Of Emerging Technologies and I extend my warmest greetings to you all. True to our name, we represent the cutting edge of the 21st century. With specialized branches of CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning & Data Science, we are dedicated to continually enhancing the skill sets of our students. Through carefully designed programs and practical experiences, we ensure that our students are well-prepared to excel in their prospective professional journeys. At our department, we strive to integrate quality education with a focus on upcoming technologies, essential for placing competent students in the IT industry. Providing guidance and support, we aim to shape our students for success. But when we talk about education it also comprises extracurricular activities so, beyond academics, we recognized the importance of extracurricular activities in building confidence and preparing students for a bright future. Our department hosts frequent events such as “ACM-ICPC and Smart India Hackathon” that contribute to our integrated development program. In conclusion, we also focus on nurturing students socially. I emphasize my role in transforming students into both technically and socially competent individuals, ready to open doors to success and a promising future. I invite all of you to collaborate with us in shaping tomorrow's world with today's youth. They will lead us to technological advancements to the greatest extent.
